IT Support Assistant – Software House – Leicester to £20,000

An IT Support Assistant is required by a software house based near Leicester . Candidates must have an interest and technical ability in IT, this role will pay up to £20,000 dependant on experience.

--- Duties to include ---
- Assist Head of Support in Answering, Logging and Resolving Application Support Issues as directed using the bespoke Project Management software
- Assist Senior Project Manager(s) with administration and implementation
- Perform data extractions from migrating computer systems

--- Key Skills ---
- Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 2003
- Previous IT Support, Helpdesk or Application Support experience is required
- A Full UK driving license and your own transport is required as the role is on the outskirts of Leicester
The role of IT Support assistant would suit an IT Graduate with some previous IT Support or Helpdesk experience who is looking for a role which will offer long term career prospects.
